What is Astrology?

Here’s an oversimplified explanation:

Astrology is the study of the cosmos, specifically the influence they have on us. Astrologers like myself, believe the position of the luminaries, planets, and asteroids at the moment of our birth has an effect on our personalities.

Tip/Instruction

We recommend starting off with reading for the sign of your Ascendant. By recognizing the ascendant sign is positioned in the first house, we have an accurate tool for predicting the influences of the transiting planets. This is achieved through recognizing the order of the astrological calendar. Through the astrological calendar, we know that those with Scorpio rising will have Sagittarius on the cusp of their second house, followed by Capricorn on the third. Through recognizing the transits of the planets, we understand the houses each planet is transiting (note: this is achieved through knowledge of the Ascendant sign). For example, those with Scorpio Ascendant will have the sun transiting their first house (self) during Scorpio season, while those with Sagittarius rising will have the sun transiting their second house (Values).

In addition to your rising sign, you may find that the reading for your Moon and sun sign resonates, simply locate the sign of moon/sun.
