It is arguably the most beautiful part of campus, so why is walking through the Quad so unnecessarily daunting for me?
Right now, I’m not sure whether I should pretend to be on my phone, stare at the ground, or awkwardly make eye contact with everyone that walks past me.

And what do I do with my bike? It’s 2:58. Do I get on it now and start pedaling so I get to the other side quicker? But that would mean weaving in and out of stampedes of people and potentially causing a fatal crash. No…
I’ll just continue walking. Oh, I look so silly walking with this bike! Damn. It’s 2:59. Class starts in one minute. Am I sweating? Yes. Am I breathing heavy but can’t hear it because my AirPods are in my ears? Potentially. Is my bike making a crazy noise because the gear is messed up? Hell yeah. Oh, I’ve arrived. History 4079, Women in American History with Professor Jacquet. I love this class.
